COVID-19 Information, Policies and Procedures

COVID-19 continues to make an impact.

While 2020 - 2021 were wildly different from typical years for all staff, students and parents, in 2022 we have seen a shift back to “normal.”. That being said, we remain cautious and follow all EEC and Town of Brookline protocols regarding COVID-19 safety.

  • All surfaces are cleaned and sanitized at the end of the day and in between uses.

  • Currently, masks are not required in the Brookline Public School buildings. Please pack one for your child just in case they develop symptoms of COVID-19 or would feel more comfortable wearing one for any reason. We have extra masks on hand too.

  • Any child or staff who exhibits symptoms of COVID-19 with no known cause will need to leave the program until they have tested negative for COVID-19 or have completed quarantine. Current CDC guidelines recommend that anyone who test positive for COVID-19 quarantine for 5 days followed by 5 days of masking if they are vaccinated and quarantine for 10 days if they are unvaccinated.

  • BSED no longer provides snack. Please be sure to pack a snack for BSED separate from your child’s school lunch/snack.
