COVID-19 Information, Policies and Procedures
COVID-19 continues to make an impact.
While 2020 - 2021 were wildly different from typical years for all staff, students and parents, in 2022 we have seen a shift back to “normal.”. That being said, we remain cautious and follow all EEC and Town of Brookline protocols regarding COVID-19 safety.
All surfaces are cleaned and sanitized at the end of the day and in between uses.
Currently, masks are not required in the Brookline Public School buildings. Please pack one for your child just in case they develop symptoms of COVID-19 or would feel more comfortable wearing one for any reason. We have extra masks on hand too.
Any child or staff who exhibits symptoms of COVID-19 with no known cause will need to leave the program until they have tested negative for COVID-19 or have completed quarantine. Current CDC guidelines recommend that anyone who test positive for COVID-19 quarantine for 5 days followed by 5 days of masking if they are vaccinated and quarantine for 10 days if they are unvaccinated.
BSED no longer provides snack. Please be sure to pack a snack for BSED separate from your child’s school lunch/snack.
